Structural Specifications

Dimensions Verified All length, width, height measurements match specifications. Account for internal vs. external dimensions.

Tolerance Allowance Tolerance of ±2mm for critical dimensions is acceptable and agreed upon.

Material Thickness Board grade and thickness match the approved sample or specification sheet.

Score Lines & Creases All fold lines are properly scored, crisp, and positioned correctly for assembly.

Tabs & Locking Mechanisms Interlocking tabs, glue flaps, and locking structures fit together properly.

Material Quality

Material Grade Paper grade (Kraft, CCN, art paper, etc.) matches specification.

Color/Finish Surface finish (matte, gloss, soft-touch, UV spot) matches approved sample.

Strength & Durability Material passes burst strength, edge crush, and puncture resistance tests.

Coating & Lamination Coatings are even, properly cured, and free from bubbles or peeling.

Print Quality

Color Accuracy Colors match approved Pantone/swatch references or digital proof within tolerance.

Print Registration Multi-color prints are properly aligned; no ghosting or misregistration.

Image Clarity Text is sharp, images are clear, fine lines are not broken or filled in.

Ink Coverage Ink coverage is even; no banding, scumming, or variation across print area.

Pre-Production Proof Final pre-production sample has been approved in writing.

Finishing & Embellishments

Foil Stamping/Hot Stamping Metallic foil is properly adhered, no peeling, crisp edges, correct color.

Embossing/Debossing Embossed areas are raised properly; design registers correctly with print.

UV Spot Coating UV coating is applied only to designated areas, fully cured, glossy finish.

Window Patching PVC/PET window is properly centered, adhered cleanly, no wrinkles or bubbles.

Functionality & Assembly

Assembly Process Box assembles easily following standard procedure; no special tools required.

Closure Mechanism Tuck flap, magnetic closure, or other closure holds securely when closed.

Stacking Strength Empty boxes can be stacked safely to specified height without deformation.

Product Fit Sample product(s) fit correctly with adequate cushioning space if specified.

Packaging & Shipping

Packing Method Units per carton match specification; not over or under packed.

Labeling Cartons are properly labeled with PO number, quantity, dimensions, and weight.

Transit Protection Packaging protects boxes during shipping; no damage from moisture or crushing.

Documentation & Compliance

Certificates Provided Relevant certificates are provided as required by your order specifications.

RoHS/REACH Compliance Materials comply with RoHS/REACH regulations if required for your market.

Food Contact Compliance If applicable, materials are food-safe and comply with FDA/EC regulations.
